At a weekend service, you can expect:

   • Each service will last about one hour.
   • Thought-provoking and engaging messages based on the Bible.

Your children will enjoy Kid's Church just for them:

• Birth - Kindergarten have age-specific lessons that capture kid's attention and imagination while fun activities help with scripture memorization.

• 1st - 5th grade kids discover who God is and feel confident about who they are in Him.

We are passionate about serving the global community and demonstrating God's love to others. Whether in person or online, individually or in groups, within our church and around the world, we are focused on supporting and engaging in relationships that provide relief and restoration to a hurting world.

Our History

In 1947 First Church of the Nazarene started in Odessa with 10 people in a motel meeting room. In 1971 the congregation relocated and built at our present location. Ten years later a full size gymnasium, commercial kitchen, additional classrooms, courtyard and restrooms we're constructed. Today we are blessed with 35,000 Sq Ft to serve the people of the Permian Basin.

We do NOT believe the church is a building. We believe the church is people. Together we are passionate about

serving others and making a difference in the lives of kids and adults, singles and married couples. Our goal is to lead people to become Christ-Like, Disciple-Making Disciples.

A Global Church

The Church of the Nazarene was founded in 1908 in Texas and today has over 2.6 million people attending in more than 30,000 churches in nearly 200 countries worldwide.

The church sponsors 12 liberal arts colleges, 3 graduate seminaries, and 41 undergraduate Bible/Theological and Nursing colleges. Nazarene Publishing House is one of the largest denominational publishers in the world.

As a global community of faith, we are commissioned to take the Good News of life in Jesus Christ to people everywhere and to spread the message of Christ-Like living across the lands.
